The London based clothing company, All Saints is a treasure. Its gothic meets punk meets girly clothes come across with a dark sophistication no Hot Topic could ever amount to. All Saints' intricate pieces mix and match different fabrics and tones to create dainty masterpieces balanced by fitted leather jackets. I know where i'll be stopping in next summer.

This is Where the Party's at

The cobrasnake, Billa, Kanan Kids, and outwithme are only a few of the popular party photo sites. It's like every "hipster" took a cue from Mark Hunter and decided to save up for some 1,000 camera and boom, it's goin down in da club. I don't dislike party photography, i think it's rather inspirational. The photographs don't own the people, the people own the photographs. It's like this fashion-meets-club culture that forms in to a melting pot for artist and musicians everywhere. Flipping through the photographs on outwithme.com i was like, "Woah.. cool parties actually happen here in Austin.." I had no idea that the nightlife was this thriving and i had no idea on how much i was missing out on. Granted, i can't go to most of these parties considering i'm under age..

An Amazing Book

This weekend I was in Marfa, Texas on my way back from visiting family, I popped into the Marfa Book Company and found the walls covered with "Art Books". Books that are all art, all about art, all about artists. It was an amazing book store saturated with inspiration and visual delights. I picked up this book while I was there. It is a catalog of hand type and it is amazing. I've found so much inspiration and it's just in time - graniph is holding a t-shirt design contest with a grand prize of 3000 dollars.
