Royals Hat Pictures

Royals Hat Pictures
Hats hats all over! yes we are talking about the The latest sensation and style statement at the royal couple kate and william’s grand royal wedding. New Yorkers have really flipped their lids over the royal wedding – they’re buying up hats for the big day.

“People got up at 4 a.m. and watch the royal wedding while they are wearing hats,” said Barbara Feinman, who owns Barbara Feinman Millinery in the East Village.

She has received “dozens” of orders for cocktail hats to be worn at viewing parties. Suzanne Couture Millinery on the upper East Side had an uptick in orders – including three hats for locals invited to Kate and Will’s nuptials.

“They came in with their outfits, and hats were custom-made for them,” said owner Suzanne Newman.”They want small, Kate-like hats. That’s the fun of the event,” said Newman. “It’s good because it’s prompted a lot of interest in hats.”

One guest opted for a classic big-brimmed hat, while another favored a whimsical topper, said Newman, who once made a hat for Princess Diana during a New York visit.

Most of her orders this week have been for young moms planning for Friday morning tea parties to chat about the pomp and pageantry.

Reese Witherspoon Style at Water for Elephants Spain Premiere

Reese Witherspoon StyleReese Witherspoon looked smoldering in a black strapless LBD at the Spanish premiere of Water for Elephants at the Cine Comedia on Sunday, May 1 in Barcelona.

Her young co-star Robert Pattinson, looking dapper himself in a grey suit and blue shirt sans tie, wrapped his arm protectively around the 35-year-old newly wed while posing for photogs on red carpet.

Resse's knee length dress had a plunging sweetheart neckline accented with a satin trim ending in a bow.

She accessorized with black peeptoe pumps and let her wedding rock take the limelight as the solo jewel on her.

Her signature blond hair, which she cut a little shorter soon after her March 26 wedding to talent agent Jim Toth, was styled sleek with side swept bangs framing her forehead and accentuating her gorgeously arched eyebrows.

She cheerily signed autographs for her fans before going into the theater for the film's screening.

Reese plays a circus star Marlena Rosenbluth in the film set in the 1930s, and Pattinson plays Jacob Jankowski,a vet with the traveling circus and Reese's love interest. Reese's barely there and revealing gowns in the film and retro structured curly locks are by themselves compelling enough reasons for her fans to go and watch the film.

Joy

Joy because: it's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, snow is predicted (woo hoo! y'all know how much I love snow :)), I am officially a blogger WITH viewers (thanks guys- you seriously rock), I have a very fun photo shoot planned for tomorrow (more on that later) AND I got to eat the above excellent sweet treat from one of my favourite coffee bars in London, Fernandez and Wells...actually I only got half of it because Mr Messy snaffled the other half :)

On a slightly different note, here is a teaser from my new project, "London Calling: running with the fash pack":

I shot this hip young man about town in Soho about 2 weeks ago. I love his look- the directional hair, the pushed up sleeves, the chunky scarf, the fab jacket and boots...I think the key to his look is that he owns it and knows he looks great. Confidence goes a long way to looking good, non? Oh yeah, and guess what he does for a living?... fashion student :):)
