Home: Eames plastic Vitra chair

I love the designs from Charles and Ray Eames and these plastic chairs are high on my wishlist. Not only do they add class to every modern or even more classic interior, they are, especially for designer chairs very affordable.

They were actually designed for a "low cost furniture design"-competition at the MOMA

They come in many variations, like rockingchair, armchair and even a chaise longue! I would love the white armchair (DAR= Dining-hight arm chair) in my sitting area.

Home: Eames lounge chair

One of the best designs ever to me is the Eames Lounge Chair, designed in 1965 by Charles Eames and his wife, Ray Kaiser. It is just the ultimate classic and it just gives a "grandeur" to every room it is placed in.

Sadly, this is something I will admire the years to come from a distance, not only because of the hefty price, but also the enormous space it needs.

But when I ever have the room, I will definitely start saving up for this beauty.

My favourite is the white version, but in my inspiration map I only had pictures with the black one. Does anybody know where there are pictures with the white edition?
