Ben Sherman Anyone?

The oh so preppy button down polo dress has usually been a turn off for me, but after seeing this amazingly cut dress with perfect geometric pattern i began to think of the possibilities... Ben Sherman Jasmine Dress $69, Urban Outfitters

Also, I love this girls hair

I got bored, (once again) today and rode my bike over to a new little vintage store. It wasn't so much vintage as is was old clothes from brands like old navy ans express with the occasional designer dress thrown in. There were boxes and boxes of clothing and shoes piled in the back and I really wish i could have seen it all, because the owner told me she had tons of size 8 1/2 - 9 vintage shoes! they're hard to find usually. But i picked up these while I was there and I know I'll be back for more.

Vintage, Navy, Snake skin, peep toe heels, $12.99

Multiple Things

My Parents have decided to let me wallpaper my room. And although our budget isn't quite $115 a roll I'm having a lot of fun browsing through tons of colorful vintage wallpaper from the 60's and 70's. I want to plaster my walls with all this color! I'm going to start buying wall paper inspired fabric from thrift stores and making dresses because all these intricate florals aren't enough to simply look at.

8/18 - 19
Wow, I guess you could say i blew off "THE" shopping event of the summer this weekend. I went to Le Garage Sale but left soon after entering.

My mom got me this amazing vintage lunch box from the 70's, i love it (it's also some what wall paper inspired).

My friend and i managed to go down South Congress, South First, and Guadalupe (all the big shopping streets) in about one day, it was unbelievably tiring, but i came home with a few neat buys. Today I got extremely bored so i walked over to a little thrift store in search of high waisted jeans to alter. I ended up with 3 shirts and some wonderful bell bottoms that I promptly ruined.

The Outfit:
90's Leggings $12, Feathers Vintage
Black AA V-neck $3, new at a thrift store
Belt $2, Second Hand
Minnetonka Booties $28, Buffalo Exchange

WANT! NEED!

So I saw this picture today and the caption read something along the lines of "Big bags are totally 'in'". And all i could think was "The big bags make less of a statement then those TIGHT ASS leggings!!!" oh my god, I am getting them. But I'm also kicking myself because i was at urban two months ago and they had them on sale for $5, but I didn't think they were worth it. damn.

The Three Looks ( from L to R): The anti social (For London Club Goers), The Misshaped (for those of you from New York) , and the cobrasnake's second skin (L.A. duh!)

The most Exciting Part of Back - to -School...

The School Supplies Of Course! I feel so lame saying that, but for someone who doesn't go shopping for a whole wardrobe of back - to - school clothes candy colored notebooks and pencils are what i look forward to. I love everything at fredflare.com and the note books at urban outfitters are delicious - not to mention high-lighters in every color.

A Fresh Take on Lamé?

I'm Sure everyone's sick of hearing about metallics. Even though lamé leggings grace the legs of hipsters in L.A. night clubs, the look is nearly passé. But I've found that i love the look of soft and pretty pastels with silver accents and athletic touches. I'm Dying for the Blowfish Silver high-top sneakers, they're balla'.
