After falling in love with the menacing, urchin like shoes at Rodarte, i couldn't resist (when given the opportunity) to try out the over the top look. I took several different sized spikes that i ordered about a week ago and attatched them to the tops of a pair of black Mary Jane pumps. I was extremely pleased with the outcome, i'll probably be studding and spiking up a storm in the near future - i'll keep you posted.

This twenty-three year old Italian has caught the eye of the fashion industry, and with her Central Saint Martins BA collection, she has managed to land a job working at Valentino. Alithia used foam cut outs to give the effect of paper and paired the dramatic pieces with simple pencil skirt sillhouettes. her work was inspired by both kimonos and modern buildings, both western ways of thinking and asian.
