. Thuli Thabete is the niece of Yvonne Chaka Chaka who is making waves as an actress. She started off in music, but parted ways with her African-soul band, Seed, to pursue acting. After months away from the spotlight, Thuli Thabete reappeared on the South African Film and Television Award-nominated comedy, City Ses’la, in the role of Phumzile.
