Femi lived her early life in the Philippines and Nigeria before returning to the United States as a teenager.
She trained in Theatre Arts at Iowa State University and studied in New York City with esteemed director and acting teacher, Wynn Handman. Femi has appeared in the television shows ER, The Practice, Ghost Whisperer, Las Vegas, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and most notably in the telenovela Wicked, Wicked, Games.
